The NCT is a compulsory vehicle inspection designed to improve road safety for all, it is a check of the basic requirements to ensure the car is safe and roadworthy, with that in mind it is important to ensure you regularly maintain your car to ensure smooth sailing through the NCT and avoid a costly retest.
